Paint and Flag Books

For April and May we spent time painting backgrounds...then created inspirational flag books from the painted pages.  What a riot of color!

March-Collaborative Canvases

We were a smaller group this month which ended up working out well. 

Each person brought a canvas, a few paint colors, and some embellishments. We then proceeded to create   backgrounds on our canvases with paint and or paper in a specific amount of time.  When the timer went off we then passed our canvases to the right and we each added to the new canvas. We did this until our own canvas made its way back around to us where we then added a few finishing touches to them.

This was a great exercise in letting go and going with the flow.

February Meeting-Journals

This month we created coil bound

junque journals made from

a variety of papers, cardstock, 

maps, envelops and folders.

January Meeting-Gelli Printing

Our first meeting went  well. 

Sharon brought her Gelli plate for printing, and 

gave us a demonstration and then let us play!
